Impersonation: 2 students held

Kothrud police have arrested a BCom student and his friend for impersonation in the annual third year BCom examination. Police have identified the arrested as Siddhant Patni of Sudhatai Mandke college in Kothrud and his friend Sudesh Zanwar.

AD Walambe,assistant police inspector,investigating the case said,“Siddhant said he could not complete his studies of the subject Business Regulatory Framework for his annual exam. He asked Zanwar,who is preparing for CA to appear in his place on Friday. This came to light when a teacher had a suspicion and asked Zanwar for his identity card and hall ticket. We have arrested both of them.”

The suspects have been booked under Section 419 (cheating by impersonation) of the Indian Penal Code.
