Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital has re-launched its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) as one of the largest NICUs in Maharashtra with 29 beds. Actress Poonam Dhillon along with Rajashree Birla launched the refurbished NICU. A tertiary unit with advanced equipment including high frequency ventilators,Aditya Birla Hospital’s NICU caters to pre-mature babies with special needs and those born after high-risk pregnancies such as those following in-vitro fertilization. The unit provides pre and postoperative management of neonatal emergencies.
