Indus health plus,as a part of their corporate social responsibility activity has decided to provide health care support to the under previleged children from the zilla parishad and municipal schools.

Indus health plus,as a part of their corporate social responsibility activity has decided to provide health care support to the under previleged children from the zilla parishad and municipal schools. These children would be examined and given proper diagnosis – free of cost. The entire activity will be executed in a phase wise manner spread over a period of two-three months. The schools will be approached with the help of NGOs to ensure better reach and genuine results. As a part od the activity,Indus Health Plus had organised a fund raising activity,an interactive session with Shiv Khera,motivational speaker. The session was held at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch on Sunday. Khera eleborated on various aspects related to success such as- positive thinking,developing a can-do-attitude and responding to life in an enthusiastic manner.

Seminar on clinical research
Symbiosis Center of Health Care (SCHC) had organised a seminar on Clinical Research on January 17 and 18. Dr Rajiv Yeravdekar welcomed the delegates and highlighted the importance of clinical research. The chief guest for the seminar was Sunil Chaudhary,head,Reliance Clinical Services,Mumbai. Chaudhary spoke on present market scenario,career growth and opportunities. 150 delegates from both- p[rivate and public sector,attended the seminar. “The industry is growing at 25 percent rate in India with excellent job opportunities,” said Chaudhary during his speech.

Online health tool by Manipal hospital
An online information tool named- Manipal Symptom Checker was launched by Manipal Hospital. Manipal Symptom Checker promises information on health. On occasion of the launch,R Basil,CEO,Manipal Health Systems said,”With the launch of this health tool,we want to impart information regarding a particular symptom and help the person get the best possible treatment available.” He further added,”Through this initiative,we want to partner with the public in creating general health awareness in our society.”
