Hazare to undergo prostate surgery soon

Social activist Anna Hazare,who is undergoing treatment at Joshi Hospital for hypertension,will undergo prostate surgery in a couple of days. Dr Arvind Phadke,senior physician at the hospital,said they are trying to stabilise his blood pressure levels as they are partially high. Once he is fit,the surgery will be performed on him,he added.

Doctors said Hazare,who has also been facing urinary problem,has become weak. He was admitted to the hospital on Monday. Dr SS Bapat,chief trustee at the hospital,said they would conduct the surgery in a day or two.
