Hair stylist Jawed Habib was in the city on Friday to share his lifelong passion for hairdressing and to launch three new salons,and a ‘Hair Xpreso’ by the Jawed Habib Hair & Beauty Institute,J M road. The salons are located in Deccan,at City Pride-Kothrud and the Infosys campus,while the 14th unit of Hair Xpreso will be at Amanora Town Center. At the launch,Habib said that hair-dressing has the potential to develop into a corporate business. He also introduced the concept of hair yoga. But the most hair-raising moment came when he made a confession. “When I first did a hair cut in India,I cut the ear of the child getting the cut!” he said.
