A grievance cell to act as a buffer between patients, relatives and doctors has been set up by the Pune Obstetric and Gynaecological Society (POGS).
It is meant to serve as a platform for patients to voice their grievances, says Dr Sanjeev Khurd, president of the POGS. We just want to provide fair advice. Often, gynaecologists face problems from patients, says Khurd.
Meanwhile,POGS has organised a special programme on the World Womens Day on March 8 to focus on well-being of women. The theme for 2010 is Equal Rights,Equal Opportunities: Progress for all.
