Gold ornaments robbed from Bharati Nagar flat

Some unidentified burglars broke into the flat of Shyam Bhutkar,a well-known art director for Marathi films,and decamped with gold ornaments on Monday. Bhutkar,59,registered a complaint at Kothrud police station.

Senior inspector Kalyan Vidhate said,“The incident took place between 11 am and 6 pm on Monday when the flat at Bharati Nagar was locked. It seems that the suspects used duplicate keys to open the lock. Gold ornaments worth Rs 3.4 lakh have been stolen. Investigation is on.”
