After years of playing soothsayer to others,what do fortune-tellers do when confronted with a personal dilemna?
They must have changed your life with a lucky stone,a card or a number. But have you ever wondered what do gemologists,tarot card readers and numerologists do when they are in a tricky situation themselves and unable to reach a conclusion? Do these future-tellers rely on their expertise to control their future? Its a general perception that it must be a cake-walk for these destiny makers to dwell into their own future and be prepared with solutions. But leave alone using their knowledge for their own good,some of them do not even believe in applying their talent for the benefit of even their family members.
Astrologer and psycho consultant Girish Shah feels that it is not ethical to use these skills for himself. He does not even apply his knowledge for his immediate family members. Predictions come true only when a totally unknown person is my client. It is not impossible to separate my own wishful or negative feelings from my reading,so the prediction may not be accurate, says Shah. Whenever he feels that there is a big problem,which is out of his control,he consults some other expert in the same profession.
But gemologist and astrologer Pandit Kumar Chandra believes that there is nothing wrong in using ones skill for ones benefit. For instance,he wore the stone Alexandra for 17 years and later shifted to Zircon as per his calculations. He has been wearing Zircon since the past five years as it helps attract positive vibes from people he interacts with.
Anupama Apte,a numerologist,firmly believes that God helps those who help themselves. She says she learnt numerology for her interest but it became a profession later on. Whenever I am facing a problem,I get to know for how much time it is going to last. So,through my calculations of numerology I derive solutions as well. There are things you cant change,like your basic number according to birth. But there are other numbers which favour you. So,when you are in trouble,being around people with numbers which are lucky for you,definitely helps, she adds.
