A delegation of 17 international student officers of 66 Staff course from Defence Services Staff College,Wellington visited the National Defence Academy on Wednesday.
Another group of 16 international student officers from the college will visit the academy on January 13.
The delegation that includes officers of Army,Navy and Air Force from United Kingdom,The USA,Ukrain,Nepal,Maldives,Afghanistan,Lebonan,Japan,Korea,Sri Lanka,Australia,Bangladesh and other friendly countries,are undergoing training at DSSC,Wellington.
The visit to the academy is part of their study tour to various military institutions of the country,said a press release from the NDA.
Air Vice Marshal Ajit S Bhonsle,Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor of NDA briefed the delegation on various aspects of training and the recent initiatives taken by the academy in consonance with the long term perspective plan of the Academy.
