Firefighting facility inaugurated

A state-of-the-art live Fire Fighting Training Facility (FFTF),was inaugurated at NBCD School,INS Shivaji,Lonavala by Vice Admiral Satish Soni,Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief,Southern Naval Command on Thursday.

“Fire Fighting Training Facility will provide realistic training in fire fighting for personnel of Indian Navy. With this facility Indian Navy joins the league of countries like US and UK,with a facility for conducting live fire fighting training,” said a press release issued by INS Shivaji.

“M/s Joseph Leslie Dynamiks Pvt,Ltd,Mumbai,were the prime contractors in technical collaboration with M/s Process Combustion Ltd,United Kingdom,” the release said.
