Engg student arrested for assault,molestation

Sahakarnagar police arrested an engineering student for allegedly assaulting two women sportspersons working with the Railways and molesting one of them,when they had come for their daily practice at Taljai ground in Sahakarnagar on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the victims did not know him.

Based on a complaint by a 23-year-old Railways employee,Sahakarnagar police arrested Abhishek Dinesh Singh,21,who hails from Vaishali district in Bihar and is pursuing his engineering degree at a private college in Pune.

According to the FIR,the complainant and her friend had come to Taljai ground area for their regular practice at 3.45 pm,when the incident took place.
