The poll results for Pune district is expected to be out by 3 pm. While the counting for the eight city constituencies will be held at Shivajinagar godown,counting for Pimpri,Chinchwad and Bhosari will be held at the Balewadi sports stadium.
Counting for the 10 rural constituencies will be held at community halls in their own talukas.
While Parvati assembly constituency with 21 candidates is expected to take the longest,Khed-Alandi with 6 candidates might have the results out first, said district collector Chandrakant Dalvi at a press briefing on the eve of the counting.
All the constituencies will have about 14 tables designated for the counting,but Bhor with 496 polling stations will have 28 tables to wind up the process faster. Counting will commence at 8 am with postal ballot and the first rounds for all the constituencies will be taken up simultaneously.
Nearly 2,100 staff have been deployed for the process. They will reach the counting centers at 6 am after the randomisation process.
Public addressal systems have been installed at SSPMS ground near RTO,Shivaji Military school,COEP ground and Agriculture College grounds.
