Remember those long and arduous history lectures in high school, where you couldnt comprehend who was related to whom and how,or those boring physics classes where some guy had apples bouncing off his head, and how you spent time gleefully masking and giving the drab pages of the text book colourful makeovers, well the ancient technique to ward off boredom might just have enough underneath it to reveal a whole lot of more retails regarding your personality. Surprised? Dont be.
Manoj Kalantri a graphologist who has recently written the first book in the world on the subject of doodling says,Doodling is not as silly as it looks. In fact it draws its roots from the same laws on which graphology is based and studying a persons doodles can actually reveal the thought process of a person and how things around him affect his thinking. It is a subject which has not been written about before and thats why I chose to come up with a book on it. And even before actually writing the book almost 12 long years of research has gone into the writing of the same. The book explains the many scientific nuances behind the art of doodling in a simple and precise manner so that even the common man can understand the same and analyse their own doodles or of those known to them.
Talking more,he says,The book also deals with an introduction to doodling with a background of Graphology. This is done in order to set the ball rolling for the people to understand doodles, and also to explain in simple and lucid terms the ways to interpret the various styles of doodles. The book will also speak about habitual and occasional doodlers, the reasons behind doodling, the types of placements of the doodles, the variations according to their size shape and pressure intensity and the various shapes of the doodles.
As handwriting analysis is a major tool used by psychologists to delve into the minds of people similarly doodles can also help understand the minds of children who are usually unable to express their emotions,of criminals as to what they are thinking and also to understand what people themselves are going through. In addition to doodling,I will also be coming out on a book Rudraksha-its origin and the mystery surrounding the seed, Kalantri says.
