Pune district Collector Suhas Diwase transferred
Satara Collector Jitendra Dudi appointed in his place

In the second major administrative reshuffle after Devendra Fadnavis became the Chief Minister, Pune district Collector Suhas Diwase has been transferred as the Land Settlement Commissioner of the state.
Jitendra Dudi, the district Collector of Satara, has been posted in Diwase’s place. Santosh Patil, the Pune zilla parishad CEO, has been transferred as the new district Collector of Satara.
Diwase had taken over as the district Collector of Pune in February last year. Diwase’s report about the alleged misconduct of now dismissed probationary IAS officer Puja Khedkar had first put the spotlight on her and after intense scrutiny the Central government dismissed her from service.
Diwase had overseen the 2024 Lok Sabha as well as the Assembly polls. Inclusion of cooperative housing societies as polling booths and a significant increase in the number of transgender voters in the district were the highlights of both the polls.
Dudhi was earlier posted as the project officer of the Integrated Tribal Development Project (ITDP), Ghodegaon in Ambegaon taluka of Pune. As Collector of Satara he had finalised the ambitious tourism plan for the Koyna backwaters.
With a new government in power, a series of bureaucratic shake-up is expected. Last week, senior officers of the rank of secretary were transferred in the first of such shake-ups.
