Cricket: Sungard defeat IBM

Sungard defeated IBM by 29 runs in the round-robin match of the third Corporate T20 Cricket Championship organised by the Maharashtra Krida at the Ammunition Factory ground,Khadki.

IBM won the toss and put the opposition in. Sungard managed to score 133 runs for the loss nine wickets in their 20 overs. Geet Desai top scored for his team with 33 runs while Pawan Anand chipped in with 24 runs. For IBM,Vivek Sharma was the strike bowler picking up three wickets for 34 runs. Ajinkya Kale gave him good support with a couple of wickets of his own.

In reply,IBM was bowled out for 103 runs in 16.1 overs. Kiran Lagad top-scored with 35 runs while Ajinkya Kale got 26 runs.

Dhananjay Borate of IBM was the pick of the bowlers scalping four wickets for 20 runs while Amit Nanaware picked up three wickets. Borate of Sungard was adjudged the man of the match.
