Doctorate degree conferred on Kulkarni
CMD of DSK Group D S Kulkarni was awarded with Doctorate of Science degree by Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (Deemed University) at an event held at university campus in Loni recently.The doctorate was conferred on him by chief guest Arun Nigavekar,former chairman of UGC & founder director of NAAC and Padmabhushan Balasaheb Vikhe Patil.
Tata engineers present papers at intl seminar
Gopal Athani and Roshan Mahadule,the two engineering professionals of Tata Technologies presented technical papers at the SAE 2013 World Congress between April 16 and 18 in Detroit. At the summit, Athani presented paper on Intelligent Alternator Control Mechanism for Energy Recuperation and Fuel Efficiency Improvement based on his work for Tata Motors Ltd. in India. Mahadule presented technical paper on CAE Simulation of Door Sag/Set Using Subsystem Level Approach where he deliberated on his work for Chrysler at the Tata Technologies Center for Advanced Engineering and Design,Pune.
Steelcase opens facility in India
Steelcase,an international furniture manufacturing firm,opened its first facility in India. The 5,000 sq m state-of-the-art plant is situated in the new industrial development area in Chakan in Pune district. The firm will employ around 100 people.
