Commonwealth Games trials: Vijay wins 25 m pistol event

Kumar Vijay won the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol event of the Commonwealth games shooting trials on Monday. The trials are being held at the shooting range of the Shiv Chhatrapati Sports City,Balewadi .

Vijay won the round with a total of 586 points in two stages. Gurpreet Singh came second with a total of 579 points while Rahul Panwar came in third with 578 points. In the 50m Rifle Prone event,Hariom Singh won the round with a score of 594 points. Sanjeev Rajput came in second with 591 points while Joydeep Karmakar came in third with 590 points.

In the 50m Rifle Prone women’s event,Meena Kumari came in first with 591 points,Ruby garg came in second with 589 points and Aprajita Tiwari came in third with 587 points.
