DHL,specializing in international express and logistics industry has developed a service to facilitate students applying for foreign universities to pursue further education. This service,DHL University Express is an air express service,designed to deliver student applications to universities abroad in the most reliable way. The super saver University Express Prepaid Coupons has been introduced to support them in managing their university documents around the world. The Coupons are available in two options of booklet values. A ten-coupon booklet is valued at Rs 8250,and a five-coupon booklet at Rs 4375. The Prepaid Coupons are valid or redeemable across the network of combined 350 Blue Dart – DHL Retail outlets across the country. National Insurance Academy donated two computers to the Gram Panchayat of Zendewadi,located at a distance of 50 Kms from Pune. MBA students of National Insurance Academy’s School of Management (NIASoM) visited the village a few times earlier and learned that the village children are deprived of computer education. They were donated by K.C. Mishra,Director,National Insurance Academy,along with Mita Totade,PGP Coordinator and S B Jog,Senior Administrative Officer,National Insurance Academy. The computers were installed at the municipal school of Zendewadi and at village panchayat office. As a part of the drive,the MBA students plan to visit the village bi-weekly to teach computer operations to the students and also take steps to increase the literacy level in the village. Talks are also going on to prepare an action plan to increase awareness of insurance in the village and ensure social protection to the people of the village.
