Coimbatore-based Isha Yoga Foundation is offering a 7-day Inner Engineering program which will be conducted in Indraprastha Hall,opposite Chaturshringi Temple,Senapati Bapat Road,between April 8th and 14. Inner Engineering – Peak of Wellbeing,is offered as an intensive program for personal growth. Program components include effective relaxation techniques,discussions,guided meditations and transmission of the sacred Shambhavi Maha Mudra kriya. These practices can activate the energy and insight to direct one’s life from within,and enhance one’s health and well-being in a holistic way. National Insurance Academy donated two computers to the Gram Panchayat of Zendewadi,located at a distance of 50 Kms from Pune. MBA students of National Insurance Academy’s School of Management (NIASoM) visited the village a few times earlier and learned that the village children are deprived of computer education. They were donated by K.C. Mishra,Director,National Insurance Academy,along with Mita Totade,PGP Coordinator and S B Jog,Senior Administrative Officer,National Insurance Academy. The computers were installed at the municipal school of Zendewadi and at village panchayat office. As a part of the drive,the MBA students plan to visit the village bi-weekly to teach computer operations to the students and also take steps to increase the literacy level in the village. Talks are also going on to prepare an action plan to increase awareness of insurance in the village and ensure social protection to the people of the village.
