Pay Rs 60 lakh in damages to Pune firm,IT court tells Japan firm,its Indian staffer

A special court of the state’s Information Technology (IT) department has directed a Japanese company dealing in engineering products and one of its Indian employees to pay a compensation of Rs 60 lakh to a city-based marketing firm for hacking into its business email IDs and accessing business-related information,which resulted in financial losses to the company. The order was passed by Rajesh Agarwal,Secretary,IT,on June 18,2013.
