Sassoon: No water for three days
There was no water supply at Sassoon Hospital for the last three days due to a faulty water pipeline. PMC officials took three days to rectify the error and had to provide seven tankers. When contacted,Dr Renu Bharadwaj,dean of B J Medical College,said they did not have major surgeries over the weekend but had to face water shortage. Narendra Salunkhe,superintending engineer,Pune municipal water works said the pipeline originates from the Cantt water works and connects via Sassoon towards UoP.
