In 2010-11 fiscal,Pune city saw 1,28,745 two-wheelers and 40,000 four-wheelers getting added to take the total weight on the city roads to 20,91,008 vehicles,of which about 15 lakh are two-wheelers.

In 2010-11 fiscal,Pune city saw 1,28,745 two-wheelers and 40,000 four-wheelers getting added to take the total weight on the city roads to 20,91,008 vehicles,of which about 15 lakh are two-wheelers.

Revenue collected by the Regional Transport Office this financial year is Rs 666.66 crore for entire Pune division,an increase of Rs188 crore over the previous fiscal. For Pune city,the figure was Rs 357.18 crore,while,last year,it was Rs 260 crore.
