Assault on PMPML joint managing director
The Swargate police arrested a man on Thursday for attempting to paint the face of PMPML joint managing director Satish Kulkarni black. Chetan Satish Rajput was nabbed by the office guards. Two accomplices Dada Shinde and Ashish Pardeshi escaped,police said. Suryakant Kamble,inspector,Swargate police,said,The trio,wearing khaki,entered Kulkarni’s office around 1:30pm and attempted to blacken his face. Rajput was nabbed by the guards. The other two jumped out of the window. Deepak Pardeshi,spokesperson,PMPML said they were not its employees. Kulkarni was unavailable for comment.
Mental hospital supervisor arrested for raping colleague
Wanawadi police have a arrested a 51-year-old supervisor of Yerwada Regional Mental Hospital on charges of raping a hospital employee and shooting and circulating an obscene video clip of the victim. Police said the two had been in a relationship since the last two years. PSI MS Phunde,Wanawadi police,said,The victim is a staffer. She registered a complaint after an obscene clip was circulated among other staffers.
