The city police have issued an order for all property owners and real estate agents who have rented out houses or apartments to submit the details of tenants.

Cops seek details of tenants by Dec 13
The city police have issued an order for all property owners and real estate agents who have rented out houses or apartments to submit the details of tenants at the nearest police station before December 13. A press release issued by the police commissionerate said considering the terrorist activities in the country,the possibility of terror suspects residing in Pune cannot be ruled out. Therefore the police have started collecting information about people who have newly shifted to the city. Action will be taken under Section 188 of the IPC against property owners or real estate agents who fail to submit the details.

Five vehicles collide on expressway
As many as five vehicles hit one another at Borghat near Khandala on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway on Friday morning. No casualties were reported. Highway police said the situation was under control and no traffic jam took place following the mishap. This is the third such mishap at this spot in less than a week. On October 12,eight vehicles collided in succession near Amrutjan point.
