A woman riding pillion on a motorcycle snatched a gold necklace and mangalsutra worth Rs 1 lakh worn by a 24-year-old woman in Hadapsar. Police said complainant Sapana Prakash Kadam of Malwadi in Hadapsar was on her way to Sasanagar with her one-year-old son and aunt on Monday night at 9 pm when an unidentified man and woman approached them,snatched the ornaments from behind at Peer Chowk and fled. Inspector Vishwambhar Golde said,This is a very rare incident as the snatcher was a woman.
