Two die in truck mishap
The driver and the cleaner of a truck carrying 22 tonne metal coil to Chakan died after the vehicle toppled near Talegaon Dabhade on Thursday night. Driver Anil Jaiswal and cleaner Vicky died on the spot. Another person was injured and is in hospital. PSI Amol Chowdhary of Talegaon Dabhade Police Station is investigating the case.

Nigerian gets 3 years in jail for lottery fraud
The Khadki Cantonment Court has sentenced a Nigerian and his Indian accomplice to three years’ rigorous imprisonment for cheating a Khadki resident through fraudulent lottery emails. Emanuel Idema Isuka (54) from Mumbai and his aide Dakshesh Anubhai Jhaveri (40),a Mumbai resident,were arrested on the compaint of Khadki-resident Ramdhani Shamrao Mourya.

DTEd result today
The result of the second-year examination of DTEd (Diploma in Teacher Education) conducted in September 2010 by the Maharashtra State Council of Examination will be declared at 11 am Saturday on the council’s website http://www.ms-ce.org.in. Students will receive the marksheets on February 11 from their colleges,stated a release.
