Well-known classical singer,Sanjay Subrahmanyan,will perform at the Carnatic Classical Music Concert organised by Poona Sangeeth Sabha on Sunday. To be held at the Nehru Memorial Hall at 5.30 pm,the concert will also feature S Varadarajan on the violin and Neyveli Venkatesh on mridangam . Subrahmanyam,who began his career in 1986,has performed all over India and abroad. Recently,he launched Sangeetham.com,a website dedicated to promoting Carnatic music. V S Mahadevan,president of Poona Sangeetha Sabha,says,This concert is aimed at spreading the beauty of Carnatic classical music. Subrahmanyam is an outstanding exponent of Carnatic music.
