The event was organised with an aim to educate people on different ways to assist the visually challenged.

Amway Opportunity Foundation (AOF),the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Amway India celebrated White Cane Day with Poona School and Home for Blind Trust (PSHBT) Pune at Koregaon Park on October 15. The event was organised with an aim to spread awareness about the White Cane Day and to educate people on different ways to assist the visually challenged. At the event,AOF presented 300 white canes to students of PSHBT. The guests present at the event were Bhavani Aytha,area manager,Maharashtra & Goa Amway India, Chandrakant Bhosale,principal,PSHBT, Krishna Shewale,administrative officer PSHBT,Amway staff and distributors. Speaking at the occasion,said Aytha,“We are extremely proud to be associated with PSHBT for the event. We are consistently supporting the World White Cane Safety Day for the past 12 years. Our relationship now has become even stronger today with a clear focus of enabling the visually challenged children to have a better future.” Bhosale added,“My heart fills with joy watching our friends getting benefitted.”
