Cable,Internet lines snap; mobile connectivity hit too

Internet and cable TV network was severely hit by Monday’s rain . “ Ever since the rain started on Monday,the connectivity at my cyber cafes got snapped due to technical snags. The Internet connection was not restored throughout the day on Tuesday. Our cafe registers an inflow of about a hundred customers. But since there was no connectivity,we sustained losses,” Rahul Mali,proprietor of Happy Computers near Parihar Chowk said. “From Monday evening till Tuesday evening,we could not watch television as there was no cable connectivity. It was only towards the evening that the connection was restored,” Sunit Tahiliani,a resident of Ashok Nagar said. Many people also experienced weak mobile connectivity too. Sagar Deshmukh, of Sakaal Nagar said,“We experienced weak mobile telephone connection throughout the day”
