Samson Controls opens plant in Ranjangaon

Samson Controls,a 100 per cent subsidiary of Samson AG,has launched a new plant at Ranjangaon. The plant was inaugurated by Atul Raje,managing director,Samson Controls Ludwig Wiesner,chairman,Samson AG and Hans Grimm,board member,Samson AG,were also present. The new facility will manufacture a range of control valves,conventional positioners and self-operated pressure and temperature regulators,apart from differential pressure meters for cryogenic storage tanks. “The petrochemical market in India is expected to touch $280 billion,” said Hans E Grimm,chief sales and marketing officer .

Reliance Digital opens store

Reliance Digital,the consumer durables and electronics arm of Reliance Retail,on Wednesday announced the launch of its first store in the city at Bund Garden. Spread over 5,800 sq ft of store space,the Reliance Digital store offers consumers a choice of a range of products from international and national brands,across consumer electronics,IT & accessories,telecom and gaming,all under one roof,said a release. Brian Bade,chief executive,Reliance Digital,said,“The store will offer cutting edge technology products under one roof,at the best value.”

Frost & Sullivan in pact with Amdocs

Frost & Sullivan has selected Amdocs as telecom BSS (business support systems) vendor of the year in its 2011 Asia pacific ICT (information and communications technology) awards. The award recognises exceptional business performance in 2010 with key criteria being revenue growth,portfolio diversity and product innovation. The award was decided by a panel of judges comprising senior industry executives and Frost & Sullivan analysts.

Vishweshwar Bank acquires Nipani Bank

Vishweshwar Sahakari Bank has acquired Nipani Urban Sauhard Sahakari Bank of Karnataka. The Vishweshwar bank has recently started branches at Nipani and Benadi in the Belgaum district of the state,increasing the total number of bank branches to 17. ank chairman Anil Gadwe said,all the facilities that are available in the Pune branches will also be made available at the Karnataka branches.” The bank will soon start its branches in Chakan and Warje.
