BoM hands over Rs 105.93-cr dividend

Chairman and managing director of Bank of Maharashtra A S Bhattacharya and executive director M G Sanghvi handed over a dividend of Rs 105.93 crore for the financial year 2010-11 to Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on Monday.

The bank has also paid Rs 20.92 crore towards the Dividend Distribution Tax to the exchequer. Shashikant Sharma,Secretary Financial Services,MOF,was also present on the occasion. Earlier,in the 8th annual general meeting (AGM) held in Pune at its central office on June 27,shareholders had approved an annual dividend of 20 per cent.
