Body found near canal

The body of an unidentified man was found near a canal between Anand society and Meera society on Saturday. A complaint of murder has been registered at the Swargate police station. Police said the body is of a 20-year-old man. There are injuries on his neck and abdomen,suggesting that persons attacked him with sharp weapons leading to his death.

Meanwhile,the Swargate police arrested two persons in connection with a two-and-a-half-year-old murder case near the Swargate state transport bus depot.
