Police have so far identified the role of four minor boys in the murderA gang of minor boys attacked and murdered a factory worker following a petty dispute at Shanti Nagar in Bhosari on Saturday night. Police said the deceased Kiran Balu Lendghar (28) lived in Shanti Nagar. His brother Harshal lodged an FIR in this case at the Bhosari police station.
Police have so far identified the role of four minor boys in the murder and they have been booked under sections 103 (1), 189 (2) (4), 191 (2), 191 (3), 190 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
Police said the deceased Kiran, who worked at a private factory, was going home from his workplace, when he brushed past a 17-year-old minor boy in Shanti Nagar around 8.45 pm. This led to a quarrel between Kiran and the minor.
Police said the minor got angry and called his friends who beat Kiran to death with wooden sticks.
Senior police inspector Nitin Fatangare of Bhosari police station said the four accused have been identified, who include two boys aged 17, and the rest two aged 14 and 15 years.
Police said further investigation is on and a couple of other minor boys may be involved in the offence.
