BEG scrape through to semis

Man of the Match Suraj Rai’s impressive performance in goal saw Bombay Engineering group (BEG) score a tiebreak win over Amravati team Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandali to enter the semifinals of the Abhijit Kadam Memorial Football Shield State Level Invitational Football Tournament on Wednesday. The match was played at the Educational complex ground at Dhankawadi. In the first quarterfinal match of the day BEG scraped past the visitors 4-2 after the match ended 0-0 at full time.
