As many as 30 officers of Engineer Officers Degree Engineering (including two Foreign Officers) and 32 officers of Technical Entry Scheme (Serial No – 16) were awarded B Tech degrees under the aegis of Jawaharlal Nehru University,New Delhi,at a function held at the Sarvatra Hall of the College of Military Engineering on Saturday.
Professor Devang Khakhar,Director,IIT Powai,Mumbai was the chief guest for the function. As many as 24 officers of Engineer Officers Degree Engineering graduated in Civil Engineering,six officers in Electrical Engineering and 32 officers of Technical Entry Scheme graduated in Mechanical Engineering.
Lt Gen SS Sengupta,Commandant,CME welcomed the chief guest and highlighted the achievements of Professor Khakhar. This year,the prestigious gold medals for Engineer Officers Degree Engineering course for standing first were awarded to Major Rajneesh Kumar in Civil Engineering and Captain Vidyut Mahato in Electrical Engineering.
The gold medal for Technical Entry Scheme for standing first in Mechanical Engineering discipline was awarded to Lt Sharad Godiyal.
