Army chief to visit Southern Command

General Bikram Singh,Chief of Army Staff will be visiting Pune on Tuesday to review the operational preparedness of the Southern Army. He will be briefed on various operational and developmental issues being undertaken in the Southern Command Area of Responsibility. “During his visit he will deliver a talk on “Leadership Challenges: Making a Difference”,at Dhanwantari Hall,AFMC,to the officers,staff and trainees of the institute. The aim of the lecture is to acquaint the attendees with the nuances of challenges faced by the leadership and ways and means by which everyone can contribute towards making a difference,” said a press release issued by Press Information Bureau (Defence Wing). He will also visit the Command Hospital,where he overview the functioning standards of medical facilities and patient care being provided.
