All for the crown

Fashion and fun ruled the evening at The Corinthians recently when the Alcon Mr & Miss Pune beauty pageant was held there. Organised by JazzmatazzWorld,the show had interesting sequences which saw 10 hunky guys and 10 gorgeous women battling it out for the crown. After a graceful Bharatnatyam performance by Rupa,a Bengaluru-based artiste,and a scintillating fire dance by Sonata from Hungary,the contestants were introduced to the audience. The girls wore interesting fusion wear while the guys looked traditional in dhotis designed by Divya Tailong. In the next round,we liked the partywear by designer Priyanka. The contestants were judged on their ramp walk in the sequences choreographed by Pooja Singh,and their wit in the Q/A rounds. Naagraj Chauhan and Khushboo Mendonca won the contest,followed by Marilyn Dyas and Akul Gilche as first runners-up and Jessica Mansharamani and Anshul Goenka as second runners-up.
