Parthasarathy is under the care of Dr. Amir Khoja, Dr Suhas Hardas and Dr. Kapil Zirpe, with his progress being closely monitored. Given his medical history, including an aortic valve replacement in 2006 and mitral valve clipping in 2021/2023, the team is taking special precautions to ensure his recovery remains on track.

Parathasarathy is the founder of the Vedanta Academy, an organisation he founded in 1988 for study, research, and dissemination of Vedanta. It is located in Malavali near Lonavala and offers three-year courses and retreats.
