The much-hyped and much-talked about Pitbull India Tour 2011 has a social side to it. The proceeds from the singer-songwriter’s shows in Noida,Mumbai and Pune will go towards Pune-based Suryoday Aids Foundation. This foundation works towards providing HIV affected children with treatment,care and support apart from creating awareness about HIV and AIDS. The foundation serves 100 children as of now,in Pune and Akola. “The youth are the future and what better way to make them socially aware than by associating with a concert of this magnitude?” said Punit Balan,Suryoday Trust’s Maharashtra President. The concert will take place in the city on December 4. Pitbull will be accompanied by an international model and not artistes Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez as was rumoured.
