3 minors brutally stab youth to death over petty dispute

Police said Abhay worked at a sweet shop, and a recent small quarrel erupted between the deceased and accused minors while driving a two wheeler. The angry minors allegedly attacked him about 35 times with sharp weapons when he was standing in a lane in Ganesh Nagar around 6.30 pm, Friday.

Abhay was rushed to a hospital, but was pronounced dead upon arrival by the doctors. His mother lodged an FIR at Sinhagad road police station.

Police nabbed the two minor assailants and are searching for the third. Police said one of the minors is already an accused and was held in an extortion case, and sent to an observation home in the past. He was released on bail a few days before by the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB), but has now allegedly committed a murder, police said.
