2 Goa-bound flights from Pune, Mumbai diverted due to low visibility
While the Pune-Goa flight was diverted to Hyderabad on Tuesday, the Mumbai-Goa flight was diverted to Belgaum before landing at Dabolim.

Two flights headed to Goa International Airport at Dabolim – one originating from Pune and the other from Mumbai – were diverted to other airports due to poor visibility on Tuesday, officials said.
George Varughese, director of Dabolim airport in South Goa, told PTI that two IndiGo flights were diverted due to low visibility on Tuesday evening. He said all other flights landed on time, and the traffic was restored.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had issued an ‘orange’ alert for Goa on Tuesday and Wednesday. The coastal state is currently witnessing heavy rains, which began on Monday night.
“The Pune-Goa flight was diverted to Hyderabad, while the Mumbai-Goa flight was diverted to Belgaum (Karnataka). Later, the flight, which was diverted to Belgaum, landed at Dabolim, the official said.
A representative of IndiGo Airlines told The Indian Express that the company did not have any additional comments on the flight diversion as the airport team had already issued a clarification.
