12-yr-old girl raped

The Pune police have arrested Mahesh Balasaheb Alhat (19),a resident of Alhatwasti in Hadapsar,who allegedly lured a 12-year-old girl,abducted her and then raped her twice between Monday and Thursday. The girl’s mother has lodged the complaint at Hadapsar police station . Police said that the girl left home for school on Monday afternoon,when Alhat abducted her and took her to with him at different places in Mulshi,where he raped her. The girl returned home after two days and narrated the incident to her mother. Meanwhile,her mother had lodged a missing report with the Hadapsar police on Tuesday. Police have arrested Alhat.

Man dies in slab collapse
The slab of the loft at an apartment in Model Colony collapsed during renovation work,killing a labour supplier on the spot on Friday evening. The deceased has been identified as Parshuram Malugi (22),a resident of Mhalunge village near Balewadi. According to the police,the deceased had taken the contract for renovation of an apartment in Shree Ban cooperative housing society in Model Colony. Parshuram along with other workers demolished a few walls,when the slab of a loft collapsed on him all of a sudden at around 5 pm. He was rushed to a hospital,but was declared dead on arrival.
