Yuva Sena office-bearer dies of cardiac arrest after taking part in march with Aaditya
Bhosale-Shinde walked along Aaditya in the march and attended the rally held in Shivaji Maidan later.

Durga Bhosale-Shinde, a 41-year-old Yuva Sena office-bearer from Mumbai, died on Thursday following a cardiac arrest. Shiv Sena (UBT) functionaries said she suffered the cardiac arrest after having participated in the protest led by MLA Aaditya Thackeray in Thane on Wednesday.
A lawyer by profession, Bhosale-Shinde was secretary and core committee member of Yuva Sena and was considered to be a close associate of Aaditya.
“Heartbroken to hear that @nowdurga ji is no more. We’ve lost one of our most hard working and kind hearted Yuva Sainik. Have no words to express the grief felt by us in the Yuva Sena. Om shanti,” Aaditya tweeted.
According to a Shiv Sena (UBT) functionary, Bhosale-Shinde had participated in the march to protest against the alleged police apathy on Yuva Sena worker Roshni Shinde, who was allegedly assaulted by the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena workers.
Bhosale-Shinde walked along Aaditya in the march and attended the rally held in Shivaji Maidan later.
Sources said that after the rally, she started feeling uneasy and on reaching Mumbai, she was rushed to Bombay hospital.
Her last rites were performed in south Mumbai on Thursday evening, which was attended by Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray, his wife Rashmi and son Aaditya. Uddhav and Rashmi also met Bhosale-Shinde’s family members. A resident of Cumballa Hill, Bhosale-Shinde is survived by her husband and parents.
