Moving on after the debacle of his last movie,Teri Meri Kahaani,Kunal Kohli is close to finalising the casting of his next. This time,however,the director does not seem in the mood to take a risk with stars. Though details of the film are still under wraps,it is certain that his next is a romcom,albeit made on a budget lesser than his previous films. And after the success of Vicky Donor,Kohli is considering Ayushmann Khurrana for the lead role. Cocktail was met with mixed reviews and one of its leading ladies Diana Penty may be his choice for the new project. However,buzz has it that the director,who has made Hum Tum and Fanaa in the past,is waiting for Barfi!s release to see if Ileana DCruz could fit the bill instead.

Air Clearance

After several sessions of consultation with the Central Board for Film Certification,The Dirty Picture will finally air on television. The films TV premiere,earlier scheduled on April 22,was stalled after the Information and Broadcast Ministry gave it a U/A rating,taking it off prime time slots and demanding that it be aired after 11pm. This,after nine minutes worth cuts were carried out to make it appropriate for TV viewing. Now,close to four months after the incident and several more consultation and cuts later,the National Award-winning film will finally air on TV on August 26.

A Cover-Up

They have often been spotted together in public. The grapevine has it that South actress Trisha Krishnan has been dating actor Rana Daggubati for a few months now. The two Hyderabad-based actors,who have been friends for years,recently gave an interview to a magazine together. Admitting that they both have a special someone in their lives,Krishnan and Daggubati,however,chose to play it down,referring to each other as friends. We wonder why then did they bother with the cosy cover shoot where they look every bit like a couple?
