When Manish Malhotra throws a party,one expects half the film industry to be in attendance. But this seasons after-party at the Taj Lands End was rather dull,unlike the last time,when everyone from Kareena Kapoor to Shah Rukh Khan to Sridevi turned up to celebrate. But Karan Johar and Tarun Mansukhani showed up briefly as did Urmila Matondkar whose social presence is seems limited to Manishs various dos,of course,dressed in his creation. In fact,we were rather surprised to see a larger Page 3 crowd,with Sheetal Mafatlal,accompanied by husband Atulya,who stood out in a smart yellow on-shoulder top with a trendy pair of black shorts.

Showstopper The guest whose arrival rather surprised us was the intellectual filmmaker Imtiaz Ali.
