With the onset of monsoon, the city has reported 53 cases of swine flu in the first 15 days of July.
Additionally, the city has reported 165 dengue cases in the same period, alongside 282 cases of malaria.
Following heavy rainfall recently, 52 cases of leptospirosis have been reported due to contaminated water.
There has also been an uptick in gastroenteritis cases, likely caused by contaminated food and water.
Symptoms such as nausea, diarrhea, and abdominal pain are prevalent. During the first fifteen days of July, 694 cases of gastroenteritis and 75 cases of cholera have been recorded.
Meanwhile, compared to 27 cases of chikungunya reported in July 2023, only one case has been reported in the first half of this month.
