Following in the footsteps of the luxury brand Moët-Hennessy Louis Vuitton,which co-owns the famous winery Moët & Chandon,India’s luxury brand Kimaya has launched its own range of fine wines,Kimaya.

Following in the footsteps of the luxury brand Moët-Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH),which co-owns the famous winery Moët & Chandon,India’s luxury brand Kimaya has launched its own range of fine wines,Kimaya. Fine Australian spirit by Global Wines,it has been especially packaged and imported for Kimaya. “As the concept of luxury extends beyond cliches to include enviable lifestyle,wine — now so closely associated with good living — has come under the purview of luxury brands. And Kimaya is delighted to be the first Indian brand to do so,” said Pradeep Hirani,CMD,Kimaya.

At an event in Mumbai,the host Hirani,along with Jatin Virmani,COO of Global Wines,unveiled the two varietals — Kimaya Moscato and Kimaya Sparkling. The bottles were uncapped by actors Shahzan Padamsee and Kunal Kapoor and designers Rocky S and Shane and Falguni Peacock. The steady flow of guests through the evening included many wine connoisseurs from the industry as well guests such as Ashish Raheja,Narendra Kumar,Vikram Bawa,Sonu Sood,Rina Shah and Shantanu & Nikhil. Priced in the medium-high range,Kimaya’s Chardonnay and Shiraz were launched on February 26 in Delhi.
