Sharma is suspected to have been targeted by the gang as he is known to share close ties with actor Salman Khan who appeared in the first episode of the Kapil Sharma’s Netflix show’s third season.

Salman has been on the radar of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang for allegedly shooting down a blackbuck during a film shooting in Rajasthan in 1998. Blackbuck is considered to be sacred by the Bishnoi community.

The actor has been given high security since April 14 last year when a few rounds were fired outside his Bandra residence.
