What would you like to change about yourself or your life?
Nothing,I’ve worked very hard to reach where I am and I love my life. But I do feel like taking things a bit slow. I want to work a little less,I want to take things slower and I want to enjoy a good quality life.

Gisele Bundchen started a revolution for Brazilian girls on international runways; which model do you see taking your place?
I can’t pick one as they’re all very beautiful. And they’re all my friends.

Why do you think Brazilian girls are so popular?
Brazil has many different ethnic groups and communities,and I think it’s this mix of cultures that makes pretty children. But I think Indian girls are the most beautiful in the world,and I’d love to visit India some time soon.

Brazilian fashion is very hot internationally currently; who are your favourite designers at home?

They are all eclectic and show different moods. I like different things in different designers. But Animale is a label dedicate to technology; their new collection is rather high-tech.

What do you do in your free time?
I love watching movies,and the theatre. New York,where I live,has lovely museums and I also love the museums in Paris. And yes,the opera in Vienna. I also read anything I can get my hands on; I’m currently reading a book on Freud.

Which is the last movie you watched?
Avatar,it was very nice.

If you weren’t a model,what would you see yourself as?
A student of culture.

What’s your exercise routine?
As a model,you have to be of a certain body type. I am completely against anorexia. I run in Brooklyn,Manhattan,as often as I can. In the vacations,I go surfing.

What trends do you foresee for the winter?
I think it would be minimal. I like jackets and boots too.

Would you ever design a collection yourself?
I’d love to,but nobody will ask me to do that.
