Carrying a fake pistol proved costly for a gang of robbers. Four men,posing as customers,entered the office of a finance company in Matunga on Tuesday with choppers and a pistol and demanded money from company owner Indrajit Bagga.

Initially taken aback,Bagga soon realised that their pistol was fake. He got into a fight with them which alerted the other employees. They immediately informed the Matunga police. The police arrested one of the four Arun Bharatbhushan Chaudhry (28) who has been convicted in the past for dacoity and robbery. According to police,he has several cases against him and was released from jail in January.
