Contrary to the usual practice of holding concerts towards the evening,this Sunday the NCPA presents Chaturprahar — an experience of Dawn to Dusk ragas. This concert is based on the relationship of ragas with diurnal time-cycles. The first session will feature Kaushiki Chakrabarty Desikan and Ulhas Kashalkar and the second,Devaki Pandit and Ulhas Kashalkar.

At Tata Theatre,NCPA,Nariman Point,September 18,8.30am to 3.30pm.

This evening,Pierrot’s Troupe,Delhi,has a treat in store for theatre lovers. The group presents Ghalib,an account of the life and times of the poet Mirza Asadullah Khan Ghalib. Featuring Tom Alter amongst others,the play will be staged at the YB Chavan Auditorium. Tickets are available at the venue.
